What a Recruitment Agency Even Means Anymore
I've been thinking about what a "recruitment agency" even means anymore.
For years, value meant sourcing. Now, with AI making it easier to produce polished CVs and growing concerns around fabricated candidates, I believe validation matters more than sourcing.
My view is that if a recruitment partner is expected to validate technical capability - not just match keywords on a CV - it needs genuine domain expertise within the business. Assessing an engineer, product leader or finance executive requires people who understand the work well enough to explore technical decisions, challenge assumptions and distinguish real experience from polished interview answers.
AI has an important role to play. It can improve efficiency, help organise information and accelerate parts of the hiring process. But I don't believe it can replace experienced judgement when evaluating complex professional capability.
That's the thinking behind iForce Connect.
Our consultants have backgrounds at organisations such as Deloitte and Oracle. More importantly, they've done the work themselves. Every candidate in our network goes through a structured technical review led by practitioners, not just an automated screening process, because we believe trust in hiring comes from informed human judgement supported by technology - not technology alone.
Perhaps that's where recruitment is heading.
Less time sourcing.
More time validating.
Let's connect.
