Graduate programmes are more than a hiring strategy.

Graduate programmes are more than a hiring strategy.

Graduate programmes are more than a hiring strategy. They are a blueprint for where a business thinks work is going. Samsung Electronics UK is recruiting for its 2026 graduate programme.

Two years. Three rotations. Sales. Marketing. Product Management.
Sounds familiar. But look closer at what graduates are actually learning.

Exposure to commercial analytics, business performance metrics, promotional planning, product launches, competitor analysis and cross-functional decision-making. The common thread is how these activities connect.

Not long ago, Sales, Marketing and Product teams often developed much more specialised skill sets. Today, they're learning to read the same business through the same data - just from different angles.

That tells us something.

The highest-value commercial roles are increasingly defined less by a department and more by the ability to connect customer behaviour, financial outcomes and business decisions. The hardest capability to build today sits between disciplines. Connecting technical thinking, commercial judgement and customer behaviour. Samsung's programme reflects that shift.

The programme is designed to give graduates exposure beyond a single function and understand how different parts of the business connect. That may be the most valuable part of the programme.
